From the concert band two ensembles have sprung forth - one from the clarinet section and the other from the sax section. Initially established to improve sectional cohesion and members listening skills, both ensembles have flourished and perform at events where the scale of the concert band is less suitable.

Both ensembles are available for hire, playing a selection of light classical, latin, swing and popular music.
