It's now more than 40 years since the Goring & Streatley Concert Band was re-formed for The Queen's Silver Jubilee, and we continue to go from strength to strength. Through this website you can listen to our music, keep up to date with events and learn about who we are and how to join us.
*** Starter Band News ***
Following the success of our taster session in July, we are expanding our membership to welcome string players as well as those on woodwind, recorder and brass instruments who can play a mere handful of notes. We will still play the same eclectic range of fun music we have always done, with parts to challenge those who want to be challenged, but we can now accommodate a much wider range of experiences by providing bespoke parts for recent starters/returners until they become more confident.
